Stroll the 2.2 mile pet friendly Riverwalk. Or if your pet wants to socialize, there's the new PetSafe Dog Park 3 miles from the cabin. If you're a regular to the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area, we think you'll love something new to explore. It's only 6 miles to Pigeon Forge at Wears Valley Rd, so you're still close to the action.

Pet friendly THIS AWAY is a 900 SF cabin that sleeps 4 guests. There's a full bed in the first floor bedroom and a new king bed (2019) in the large open loft. Both have 32" TVs. The loft is spacious with two sections. In the smaller section near the bathroom is a private desk area & arcade table for gaming. There's a full bath on each floor. The loft bathroom features a jetted tub, perfect for a quiet soak.

If you need fast, reliable internet, THIS AWAY offers Charter high speed internet. You can connect to all your favorite apps, stream movies or Facetime with family back home without fear of overage charges or slow service.

THIS AWAY welcomes well-mannered, house-trained adult dogs up to 100 lbs. Your pet must be up to date on shots and on flea/tick control medication. While you're on vacation, your dog can have a great time, too! While you can take walks right around the neighborhood, we highly recommend the Burchfiel Arboretum and Riverwalk that's only a mile away. There are paved walking paths on both sides of the river, plenty of benches, even a gazebo and picnic space. And it's fun to watch the ducks, herons, geese and whatever wildlife you might encounter on the river.

From the front porch, you can see the nearby stocked catch-and-release fishing pond. Even if you're not a fisherman, it s fun to sit by the water and watch the fish and turtles swim by. Or if you prefer to relax IN the water, try the hot tub on the covered porch. It's a newer hot tub in excellent condition and features a cover lift. No having to drag a bulky hot tub cover off and on.

The living area has a sofa and love seat featuring built-in recliners. And the gas fireplace is a snap to light. Just turn the switch for up to 60 minutes of flames. No worries if you fall asleep in front of the 42" flat screen TV since the fireplace will turn itself off. The gas fireplace is available Oct. 1 to March 31. And we think you'll appreciate that the TV is mounted on an adjustable wall mount, making it easy to swivel the screen to the perfect viewing angle.

Stretch your vacation budget the easy way. The eat-in kitchen is well equipped and features all the items you'd expect: standard coffeemaker, Keurig, toaster, blender, microwave and ice maker in the freezer. Enjoy breakfast on the front porch picnic table. Or pack a picnic for a midday hike. For dinner, pick up some charcoal and grill out at the cabin. The options for low-cost dining are plentiful at the cabin.

Another great feature of THIS AWAY is right next door: THAT AWAY, its sister cabin. Traveling with another couple? Like to bring grandma and grandpa along? Have friends who would like to join you on vacation but they want to stay nearby? THAT AWAY is a great option when you have other guests who would like to have their own space. Between the two cabins, you can sleep up to 9 guests.
